SRC OPTION: All metal surfaces which can contact a drum being lifted or released are non-ferrous stainless steel with non-sparking alloy clamping jaws. Standard rubber belts are replaced with anti-static rubber belts for added non-sparking protection.
QUICK-CLAW OPTION: Eliminates the need for operator dismount from the lift truck to install the OSHA required safety chain. Quick-Claw™ Cam Locks automatically lock the attachment onto the lift truck blades when the attachment is lifted. A safety chain is not provided with the Quick-Claw™ option.

Heavy-Duty Double Clamping Mechanisms
The top of the line Eagle-Grip® 4 Series of lift truck attachments incorporates heavy-duty Eagle-Grip® double articulating clamping mechanisms for handling any steel, plastic or fiber chimed drums in high volume applications. These attachments provide the safest available method of lifting and transporting any chimed drum with a lift truck. The clamping mechanisms are completely mechanical requiring no hydraulic or electrical connections. Each drum is gripped with two upper and lower jaws in heads which are spaced about 6 inches apart. The swivel action of the Eagle-Grip® 4 Series is operator friendly permitting pickup of misaligned or slightly separated drums. The Eagle-Grip® 4 Series is strongly recommended when handling fiber and plastic drums in excess or 600 lbs. and light gauge open head steel drums.

Fork mounted models enable lift truck operators to install/remove the attachment in seconds without tools. Totally enclosed 43" long fork pockets with attached safety chain and cam-lock secures the attachment to the lift truck. Fork mounted models can handle 1 or 2 drums at a time.
When two 55-gallon drums are on the attachment, the two drums are wider than the attachments' width. This makes easy unloading of drums which are tightly packed in trailers or overseas containers. Quick adjustable heads allow pickup of various drum heights. Standard heavy duty rubber belt bases support the lower side of the drum eliminating dents or cosmetic abrasions.
