ELDR Narrow Aisle Roll Manipulator with DC powered lift, SRCR clamp and rotate (for non-hazardous areas) are designed for handling a roll weighing up to 500 lbs. (226.8 kgs). ELDR models are designed to work in tight, congested areas. Straddle leg models are 41.9″ (106.4cm) in length and 29.5″ (74.9cm) in overall width. A low-profile base frame permits the clamp to grip a roll from the floor or the corner of a pallet. Single stage masts provide approximately 64” (162.5cm) of vertical lift from the floor to the center of a horizontal roll. The SRCR clamp can handle a wide range of roll materials from 12” (30.5cm) to 26” (66cm) in diameter and weighing up to 500 lbs. (226.8 kgs). The larger hydraulic clamping arm of the SRCR is equipped with two position settings, which allows the clamp to handle this wide range of roll diameters. The inner pin position handles 12” (30 cm) to 22” (56 cm) diameter rolls, while the outer pin position handles 18” (46 cm) to 26” (66 cm) diameter rolls. The most valuable feature of this clamp is its ability to grip and handle rolls from either a vertical or horizontal position. This feature is possible due to the SRCR clamp having a lower fixed arm and an upper hydraulic clamping arm. The lower arm acts as a scoop, allowing the clamp to get a clamping pad underneath a horizontal roll. The hydraulic arm then clamps down securing the roll for rotation or transport. The SRCR clamp features two 16” (40.6cm) high clamping jaws, each lined with white SBR rubber to provide a durable yet secure non-marking surface to grip the roll. To load rolls to and from converting equipment these clamps can rotate 360° endlessly either left or right. For handling shorter width rolls, 8” (20 cm) clamping pads are also available. ELDR Roll Manipulators feature high quality Darcor® casters, which help decrease the push and pull forces involved with moving heavy rolls. An ergonomic step-down foot floor lock is also included for added safety, which locks the equipment into place when it’s not in use.
