ELDR Narrow Aisle Cylinder Manipulator

with DC Powered Lift, CCR Clamp, and Rotate

ELDR Narrow Aisle Cylinder Manipulator with DC powered lift, CCR clamp and rotate (for non-hazardous areas) are designed for handling a wide range of cylinders from 5” (12.7cm) to 13” (33cm) in diameter and weighing up to 500 lbs. (226.8 kgs). ELDR models are designed to work in tight, congested areas. Straddle leg models are 42.7″ (108.5cm) in length and 29.5″ (74.9cm) in overall width. A low-profile base frame permits the clamp to grip a cylinder from the floor or the corner of a pallet. Single stage masts provide 70.5” (179.1cm) of vertical lift from the floor to the center of the clamp. The CCR clamp features two 16” (40.6cm) high clamping jaws, and a 16” (40.6cm) high back pad, each lined with white SBR rubber to provide a durable yet secure non-marking surface to grip the cylinder. The back pad offers three settings for a range of cylinder diameters, 8” (20 cm) to 13” (33 cm), 6” (15 cm) to 11” (28 cm), and 5” (13 cm) to 7” (18 cm). The CCR clamp can rotate 360° endlessly either left or right. ELDR Cylinder Manipulators feature high quality Darcor® casters, which help decrease the push and pull forces involved with moving heavy cylinders. An ergonomic step-down foot floor lock is also included for added safety, which locks the equipment into place when it’s not in use.

  • Manual propelled unit with DC powered: lift, clamp, and rotation.

  • Single stage mast allows the clamp to sit 10.5″ (26.7cm) above floor level in lower horizontal orientation and provides 70.5” (179.1cm) of lift from the floor to the center of the clamp in a fully raised position.
  • DC powered lift, clamp, and rotation with (2) 12-volt AGM deep cycle batteries (24-volt system), hydraulic motor & internal charger housed in a closable cabinet with a master disconnect switch and gauge type battery discharge indicator. (A polarized heavy gauge extension cord rated 12-3 15amp / 125 volt with grounded type B (NEMA 5-15) plug is required).
  • CCR clamp rotates 360 degrees left or right, designed for handling a 5” (13 cm) to 13” (33 cm) diameter cylinder with 16” (41cm) high fixed clamping pads lined with white non-marking rubber to securely grip a wide range cylinders.
  • Lift/lower, clamp/unclamp and rotate left/right function located in the top of DC cabinet.
  • Clamp/unclamp with red dead-man switch to prevent accidental dropping of a cylinder.
  • Darcor® ergonomic non-marking casters 5” x 2”: (2) swivel, (2) rigid

Adjustable Clamping Pressure with Pressure Gauge – When handling more sensitive cylinders subject to impressions it may be necessary to lower the hydraulic pressure of the clamping mechanism. Reducing the hydraulic clamping pressure will reduce the force of the clamping mechanism against the cylinder being gripped.
