Eagle-Grip® 1 Series Attachments

Eagle-Grip® 1 Series Light-Duty / Low Volume fork mount attachments utilize an Eagle-Grip 1 single automatic clamping mechanism designed for handling a steel, or plastic drum(s). Eagle-Grip 1 Series attachments are capable of handling one or two drums at a time, 750 lbs. (340 kg) capacity per drum, 1,500 lbs. (680 kg) total capacity for double drum handling models. Eagle-Grip 1 Series fork-mounted models provide easy installation by the operator within seconds either to or from a fork truck. Eagle-Grip 1 Series models come standard with 33” (83.8 cm) long, light duty fork pockets designed to sit on the front of standard forks with a safety chain to secure the attachment to forklift carriage. EG1’s are also available as a Class II carriage mount (CM), in lieu of fork mount.

EG1SRC Single clamping mechanism with spark resistant clamp (all metal surfaces including clamping jaws which contact the drum to be stainless steel, includes a rubber belt attached to drum cradle)

Quick Claw Safety Restraint System (Requires 42” long forks) eliminates the need for operator to dismount from the lift truck to install the OSHA required safety chain.  Quick-Claw cam locks  automatically lock the attachment onto the lift truck forks when the attachment is lifted.  A safety chain is not required with the Quick-Claw option.

Non-Intrinsically Safe Scale System: Doran 7000XLM Indicator for checking weight or performing inventory. Includes all wiring, two stainless steel load cells, internal battery & charger, mounting and calibration.

Intrinsically Safe Scale System: Rice Lake 882IS or Mettler-Toledo 256x Indicators for checking weight or performing inventory. Includes all wiring, two stainless steel load cells, internal battery & charger, mounting and calibration.  FM approved for Class I, II, III, Div.1 Groups A,B,C,D,E,F,G/T4. (Not pictured)
