ED Drum Dumpers

with Air Powered Lift, FCR Clamp, and Rotate

ED Drum Dumpers with Air powered lift, FCR (Forward Clamp Rotator) and rotate (for hazardous areas) are designed for handling a drum with a standard capacity of 800 lbs. (362.9 kg) but are also available in configurations designed to handle up to 1,000 lbs. (450 kg), contingent on equipment configuration. The Air powered hydraulic system makes it ideal for heavy duty drum handling applications where DC powered equipment is not permitted. ED models are designed with a straddle leg base frame 34.5″ (87.6 cm) wide and 47″ (119.4 cm) in length based on clamp and weight capacity requirements. Available with either a single- or two-stage mast for lift heights from 48″ to 144″ (122 cm to 366 cm) of vertical lift. The FCR clamp features two 8” (20.3 cm) high clamping jaws, each lined with white SBR rubber to provide a durable yet secure non-marking surface to grip the drum. FCR clamps are designed for handling a steel, plastic, or fiber drum from 20” (50.8 cm) to 24” (61 cm) in diameter, and rotates 180° forward for dispensing. ED Drum Dumpers feature high quality Darcor® casters, which help decrease the push and pull forces involved with moving heavy drums. An ergonomic step-down foot floor lock is also included for added safety, which locks the equipment into place when it’s not in use.

  •  Unclamp/clamp control require holding open a secondary valve to permit the unclamp/clamp valve to operate. This secondary valve prevents accidental opening of elevated drums.
  • Extremely low decibel air motor with air filter/regulator and shut off valve
  • Brass ball valve with 1/2″ NPT female thread to accept end user supplied male coupling.
  • Requires consistent air supply at 100 psi with the hose and coupling having an inside diameter of 1/2” is required to produce the maximum power from air / hydraulic power unit

Easy Lift Equipment’s pneumatic and air-powered models are built with anti-static and non-sparking components. These units have not been submitted for third-party certification and contain no electrical components, except for the optional scale system, which carries its own independent approval.

Small Drum Adaptor (for 16” (40.6cm) to 20” (50.8cm) diameter drums) The small drum adapter is comprised of two individual curved sections with white SBR rubber vulcanized to the metal curve to provide a durable yet secure non-marking surface to grip the drum. Each curve is slid onto a clamping jaw then locked into place by inserting a stainless-steel retaining pin & circle cotter pin on a lanyard.

Stainless-Steel Adjustable Foot (Quantity 1 Bolt-on, 3530061) & Stainless-Steel Pony Hold Down (Quantity 1 Bolt-on, 3530062). When handling a heavy plastic, fiber, or tapered drum it may be necessary to add either a pony hold-down or foot support to reduce the risk of slippage from the clamping jaws. The CR clamping jaws have two pre-drilled and tapped locations for easy installation. Both supports are constructed in stainless-steel for cleanliness and durability.

Stainless-Steel units are not wash down safe. Stainless-Steel Construction is not available for trial, return, exchange, or cancellation.
