RCR 3148 Clamp

ER Roll Manipulators with DC powered lift, RCR 3148-16 clamp and rotate (for non-hazardous areas) are designed for handling a wide range of roll materials from 31” (78.7 cm) to 48” (121.9 cm) in diameter and weighing up to 600 lbs. (272.2 kgs), contingent on equipment configuration. ER models are designed with a straddle leg base frame 58.0″ (147.3 cm) wide and 56.5″ (143.5 cm) in length based on clamp and weight capacity requirements. Available with either a single- or two-stage mast for lift heights from 48″ to 144″ (122 cm to 366 cm) of vertical lift. The RCR 3148-16 clamp features two 16” (41 cm) high clamping jaws, and a 16” (41 cm) high back pad, each lined with white SBR rubber to provide a durable yet secure non-marking surface to grip the roll. The 16” (41 cm) high clamping pads are ideal for clamping more sensitive roll materials, as they spread the clamping force over a larger surface area which helps to minimize excessive distorting or impressions to more fragile roll materials. For handling shorter width rolls 8” (20.3 cm) high clamping pads are also available at time of order. The RCR3148-16 can rotate 360° either left or right. ER Roll Manipulators feature high quality Darcor® casters, which help decrease the push and pull forces involved with moving heavy rolls. An ergonomic step-down foot floor lock is also included for added safety, which locks the equipment into place when it’s not in use.
